The Senior Class Council is thrilled to announce that the legendary actress Julie Andrews will be speaking at the May 10, 2013, commencement ceremony. Ms. Andrews is a multiple winner of Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys in her 60-year career.
Other career highlights include:
- Becoming Dame Commander of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 2001
- Writing more than 27 best-selling children’s books
- Serving as ambassador to the United Nations for UNIFEM
- Creating, with her late husband, Blake Edwards of Operation USA, a highly mobilized worldwide disaster relief organization
