Join us at the UMC for the MAVEN launch party! – K-12 registration has SOLD OUT!

Head to the UMC on Nov. 18 to watch MAVEN launch and enjoy free snacks, prizes and activities from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. We will be streaming NASA TV to our large screens in the Glenn Miller Ballroom and Room 235 (across the hall) to watch the launch and we will have staff onsite to answer questions regarding the launch.
*Please note: the launch window is scheduled for 11:28 a.m. – 1:28 a.m. MST. MAVEN could launch at any time during that window.
If you will be driving to campus for the watch party, we encourage you to park in Euclid Auto Park located between Broadway and 18th Street (east of the UMC). The EAP parking rate is $2.00 per hour up to three hours. After three hours, the rate is $4.00 per hour.

11 a.m. – Check-in
We encourage CU faculty, staff, students and the general public to arrive at Room 235 at 11 a.m. to give yourself time to get settled for the launch. Our launch window opens at 11:28 a.m. and will close at 1:28 p.m. MST.
We will have light snacks and beverages for you to enjoy.
11:20 a.m. – MAVEN presentation by Matthew David Benjamin, Fiske Planetarium
Matthew Benjamin, Fiske Planetarium’s education programs manager, will be joining us as our event emcee and provide a brief presentation and commentary during the launch.
We will host a short Q&A for our audience following the launch.
1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. – Event Ends
